Chia-Jung (Carol) LinInstruments teach: Piano
Chia-Jung Lin (Carol) started to play the piano at the age of 6. She is an accomplished pianist, educator, and musical artist from Taipei, Taiwan. She possesses an extensive education in the realm of music, recently graduated her second master&acirc;ï¿½ï¿½s degree (Master of Arts) in the Art Presenting and Live Entertainment Management at the Frost School of Music, University of Miami. She received an M.M. in Piano Performance in the studio of Dr. Laura Melton at the&acirc;ï¿½&uml;Percussion Performance at the Chinese Culture University in Taiwan, where she studied under Dr. Chi-Yin Lin in 2013.
While studying at Bowling Green, she attended OhioMTA (Ohio Music Teacher Association) as an attendee in Akron, Ohio and OhioMTA Northwest District Pedagogy Conference as a presenter in Bowling Green, Ohio. In the summer of 2016, she was a piano assistant at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, which serves more than 5,400 gifted elementary, junior high, and high school students with diverse programs in music, art, dance, and drama, while offering more than 175 performances during its Summer Arts Festival in Michigan. In addition, she was a piano instructor for a group piano class at the Early Childhood Learning Center in Bowling Green from 2016 to 2017. Also, she was a piano instructor at the Frost Preparatory Program at the University of Miami and teaches group and applied piano lessons from 2018 to 2019. She has a firm private piano studio since 2017.
